Future Musician

While celebrating the 4th of July at Lake Waukomis, Logan discovered his love of the guitar. When Uncle Jim gave him one to play he replied with delight, "Oooh, Thank you!"

Corn is King!

Grammie and Grampy had fresh garden corn in Missouri. This was Logan's first time eating it right off the cob. I think he enjoyed it! Who could resist all that butter and salt!

Are We There Yet?

We recently went to Missouri for my brother Lance's wedding. Logan did well on the 13 hour trip. We stopped in Arkansas on the way there and back to see Auntie Rhea and break up the trip.

12 Week Photo

Well, here is my stomach at 12 weeks. I think I was about twice as far along with Logan when I looked like this. I'm so glad it's the last week of my first trimester!

Toddler Bed

Daddy converted my crib to a toddler bed last night and I did great! I thought I was pretty special in a big boy bed and went to sleep with no problems and slept all night and even waited for Mommy to come and get me in the morning after I was awake!

Chief decided he likes my big boy bed too and wouldn't get out!

Just Some Pics

Logan doesn't really care for wearing hats but he seems to like this visor we got at the $1.00 bin at Target.

Logina!

Logan decided to try on one of Mommy's headbands recently. Wouldn't he have been such a pretty little girl!?

New Baby

I had my first OB appointment on Wednesday, May 21st. Our due date is set for December 28th. I never had the opportunity to have an ultrasound with Logan at 8 weeks so this was a neat experience. The baby looks like a jellybean right now but it's nice to know there really is someone in there making you bloated! I am very excited about being able to deliver at the civilian hospital this time!

Shrubs!

We finally found some shrubs to plant outside of the windows on the right of the house. When they grow some Daddy will shape them into topiaries. We also had to replace our hibiscus with rose bushes because they didn't make it through the winter.

Fiesta Parade

This is at the Fiesta parade we attended. Logan got his first kiss from Ravianna, whose family was behind us. Logan liked the horses the best. Most of the pictures are hard to see because it was actually a night parade so the lights didn't come out so well, I will spare you those.

SeaWorld Here We Don't....

We travelled to San Antonio this weekend with plans to go to SeaWorld this summer before Daddy's surgery next Monday. The weather changed our plans...it was beautiful on Friday and Saturday and we hung out by the Riverwalk and our hotel, as it turned out Fiesta was going on, which is like San Antonio's Mardi Gras. We had a good time. Saturday night a storm came through and the high for Sunday was only 55 at noon so we opted to head home and hit Seaworld another time. Hopefully Daddy will be ready to travel again by Logan's birthday in September.

Cozy Coupe

Logan needed some more outside toys so he recently got a car of his very own. This was popular at his cousin Gavin's and Gunner's house this winter and our neighbor recently got one for her little girl. Daddy didn't appreciate Logan riding around in a pink and purple car though so we got the boy version.

Let's Landscape!

Our next door neighbor did some landscaping recently and Logan thought she looked like she needed a hand....

Bye Bye Highchair

We recently retired Logan's highchair. He was no longer a fan of it and prefers to eat at the table on the bench. When we dine out, we request a booth and he sits next to Mommy. He also prefers to eat off of the same plates as us and to use our utensils instead of his.

Future Hairdresser

I have been doing a lot of hair lately for the other Mommies in our playgroups and Logan does my hair after my appointments leave.

Comfy

Logan is soooo into Sesame Street. This is his favorite spot for TV viewing.

Cameron Park Zoo

The weather has been great recently in Texas and we took advantage of it and headed to the zoo. Here are just a few of my favorite pictures.
