Sherri Don't Scare the Fish!!!!

Sorry Mom, I was feeling ornery. I couldn't resist, you are just too funny. The temptation was too great and I know you can't blog me back. He He He....... This is my Mom trying on her snorkel gear before heading out to the beach in Hawaii when they came to visit after Logan was born. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Whew!!

Well folks that brings you up to date. I made it on the last day of April. Here are some more pics of the house and we will see what May brings.

Henke Reunion

Wilfred and Jean were gracious enough to invite Logan's other Grandparents to the reunion and we all had our photo taken together.
Brian's parents and 9 older siblings and spouses.

Here is our handsome little Logan who was 6 months old in this shot.

While visiting family between moving from Hawaii to Texas we had a Henke family reunion. It was nice to see family and visit, for some of us it had been years. Our sister-in-law Molly is a photographer and she took over 250 photos that day. Here are some for you to enjoy.

Saying Goodbye....

February was our last full month in Hawaii. We had 3 pool parties that month to get together with friends before we said, "Aloha," one last time. We hope you enjoy the scenery in some of these pictures.

Visit to Missouri

Logan and his cousin Gavin, who is 8 days older. They had a good time together.

In January Logan and I made a trip to Missouri for 3 weeks to visit. This was before we knew that we were moving from Hawaii to Texas and that we would be back to visit again in early March. He did pretty well on the plane ride over and even got to see the cockpit and meet the pilot. We had a good time visiting with family, for many it was the first time they had seen Logan.

Christmas

This is the Christmas tree at the Ko Olina Resort where we lived. It was inside the Marriot Ihilani hotel.
This is us in front of our tree at our townhome on Christmas day.
This is on the Big Island of Hawaii. We were in search of waterfalls.

Auntie Rhea came to visit us for Christmas. We had a really good time and Mom and Dad even got to have a nice dinner out alone while she babysat. We also went to the Big Island while Auntie Rhea was visiting. This is a picture of us at Volcanoes National Park.

I Thought They Were Catholic??

Logan was baptized on November 12th, 2006 at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He looked more like an Amish baby at the ceremony due to his gown that Grammie bought him in Arrow Rock. I thought he was adorable. His Godparents are his Aunt Debbie, his Grandpa Leo and pictured with him, Uncle Kimo and Auntie Lynn.

Halloween

Well, I couldn't help but post a picture of Logan the Lobster. I think you can see why.... We spent Halloween trick-or-treating with Auntie Lynn and Uncle Kimo in Mililani. Logan made out like a bandit, even though he fell asleep about halfway through. Mom was happy because she got to eat the candy!

It's a Boy!!

Announcing Logan Xavier Henke, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on September 6th 2006. He weighed in at 7lbs. 1.5 oz and was 19 inches long. He was delivered by Cesarean Section due to his breach position. I tried everything to get him to turn, looking back now I can see why he was so stubborn. Personality!

In The Beginning.......

Well, I suppose since Logan will now be 8 months old on the 6th of May I need to get you caught up on his life thus far. I will be posting one picture and one event for the last 7 months.

Howdy!!

Hello, we are Brian, Cynthia and Logan Henke. We currently live in Central Texas. We moved on April 4th after being stationed on Oahu, Hawaii for 3 years. We just recently bought a new house. I learned about blogging from my sister-in-law Alisha so I thought I would give it a try.
