Swim Lesson

This is from Logan's first swim lesson. We were supposed to have lessons Monday thru Thursday, however, we have been getting a lot of rain in central Texas so lessons were cancelled all but one day so far and today isn't looking very promising either. I have more video but there are sirens and other babies crying loudly in the background so Brian thought this video would suffice. Logan is the youngest one in his class and he only cried when he was submerged. I think he might have been okay if Mommy had done the dunking instead of the teacher.

San Antonio Zoo

These are just a few photos from our visit to the zoo. Most of the pictures are of the animals so I chose to just post the ones with Logan in them. We spent a lot of time in the reptile house due to the heat...it was air conditioned inside. We actually got to see them feeding some of the larger snakes a meal of white rats.




Logan liked the petting zoo, I think it was his favorite part. He got licked on the hand by this particular goat and let out a chuckle.

Riverwalk

These are some shots from the Riverwalk in San Antonio. We stopped here before heading to the zoo because our hotel was nearby and it's a neat place to go. There are many upscale hotels along the river and lots of shopping and restaurants. Brian and I had not been here in almost a decade.

SeaWorld Here We Come!

We made a trip to San Antonio on Sunday and stayed the night. We hit SeaWorld on Sunday and the Riverwalk and the Zoo on Monday before making our way back to Killeen. We all had a great time. Boy, was that hot Texas sun out though! Whew!

SeaWorld is sponsored by Budweiser and they were giving out free samples of beer, this was Brian's favorite activity. Logan and I enjoyed the air-conditioning for awhile.

While Dad relaxed, Logan enjoyed being able to move about on his own outside of the stroller and Mom's arms.

Rub a Dub-Dub Two Men in a Tub

Brian had shoulder surgery on Friday, June 8th so he needed a little help in the hygiene department. Logan decided he could share a bath with Dad and Mom could wash them both!!

Happy 9th Month!!

Logan started his 9th month yesterday on June 6th! I tried to get some good pictures but he is too interested in moving and doesn't want to hold still while I snap the shot (as you can see). He weighed in at 19lbs. and is 27 and 3/4 inches long. We also went to Sears yesterday to take his pictures and he wasn't cooperating. I hope his one year photos turn out better.

I Can Crawl!

Logan is officially crawling now. He surprised us all yesterday afternoon by crawling across the dining room floor. I took these pictures this morning. He is keeping me on my toes! He kind of moves like he's trying to walk, he uses one knee like a normal crawl and the opposite leg he uses his foot, but he moves!!
