Loggie Bear

We like to call Logan "Loggie Bear" so this towel from his Great Aunt Sally is a real hit.

Happy 1st Birthday Logan!!

It's official....Logan is no longer a baby. He has entered the realm of toddlerhood. He was born one year ago today in Hawaii at 1:27 pm Hawaii Standard Time, which would be 6:27 CST. He weighed in at 7lbs. 1 1/2 oz. and was 19 inches long. We threw him a party on Sunday because his Auntie Rhea and Grammie Grothaus were able to make it down for the Labor Day holiday.

Pool

We bought Logan a pool. I know it's the end of the summer but I did manage to get the last one at Wal-Mart. Brian said it was the best $5.44 we ever spent. Logan hasn't even used it outside yet. He loves to play with it in the house. Maybe one of these days we will actually put some water in it.

Cardboard

Who would think that a wrapping paper tube would be so fun? Brian taught Logan how to blow into the end of the tube. They had a good time with this game.

Sleeping Beauty

I couldn't resist snapping this shot. I haven't taken any pictures of Logan sleeping since he was a tiny baby. They are so peaceful when they sleep.

Storytime

Logan loves books. He is really getting into being read to. He sits so still for the story.

Baby Carrier

Brian got some new gear. Too bad we didn't have this when Logan was a younger baby. Mom could have had a break more often. He He. Logan liked being in the backpack on his Daddy's back.

Everything's Bigger in Texas

We had a massive spider on the side of our house this week. Luckily Brian was able to kill it and I didn't have to. You can actually see it's face!

Playdate

Logan had his friend Damien over to play last week. We escaped the heat inside. Our toys were a lot more interesting with someone else around to enjoy them. Damien lives on the street behind us.

Laughing

Push

Logan is finally interested in walking behind his car. Daddy showed him how to do it, so naturally, he was game to give it a try.

Hats

Logan got some new hats recently that he thought he would model for everyone.

Radijazz

Logan and I went to Austin yesterday to Radijazz. It was a lot of fun. We will definately be going back again. By the time I was in position to take the pictures his expression had changed but that's the way it goes.

Curtains

One of Logan's favorite pastimes lately is playing in the curtains in our bedroom.

Happy 11th Month!!

Logan marks his 11th month today! One more month and he will be one year old! Soon he will be considered a toddler. I hope you enjoy these photos of the little goofball. Notice all those teeth, he is up to 8 now.

We got the footage we were looking for. Logan likes his scratch and sniff book and Dad got him sniffing so Mom could get the video.

More From the Highchair

Everyone must think we contain him in his chair 24/7 but this is when we get the best footage. All he wanted to say was DaDa but Dad coaxed him into a MaMa.
